Hi and welcome!

I am a self taught maker and designer who loves teaching and passing along my love of colour and especially hand stitching.

Over the years I have explored many creative wanderings – spinner, knitter, felt maker, maker and designer of quilts, lover of hexagons, slow stitching - boro and kawandi and embroidery.

The joy of slow stitch, whether it be a wandering running stitch or a ‘look at moi’ bullion stitch are my physical meditations.

I hope that here on my blooming blog that we can connect and chat as if we were sitting together on my couch, a cup of tea resting on the arm, stitching and chatting like life long friends!
