Tilda Club May Project by Frances Lilly Designs & embellished by Living Cloth

This bag is a fabulous roomy bag with heaps of pockets just waiting for a bit of embellishment!

I decided to use some Tilda Medium Dots and Chambray basics to create a casual ‘beachy’ feel to the organic shapes I created to embellish the bag.

I also added the Tilda Chambray buttons and the little Tilda Friends buttons in the cool colour ranges to blend in with the fabrics for a bit of whimsy!

The pattern for the embellishment includes templates to trace the organic shapes and instructions for the applique is to use your favourite technique. I love to use the Hugs’n Kisses semi dissolvable paper for all my applique projects.

I used paper shapes to initially place all my pieces but you can do this with your applique pieces.
